Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to AJA-AI. By accessing or using our AI-powered job application platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and AJA Private Limited ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Zimbabwe, trading as AJA-AI.

Eligibility

To use AJA-AI, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Not be prohibited from using our services under applicable laws

Description of Services

AJA-AI provides an AI-powered job application platform designed to help job seekers in Zimbabwe and beyond. Our services include:

Core Services

• Manual Job Application: Upload job postings and receive AI-generated cover letters and application emails tailored to your profile.
• One-Click Apply: Browse job listings and apply with a single click using AI-generated applications.
• Auto-Pilot Mode: Enable automatic job applications to positions matching your selected categories (Pro & Enterprise plans).
• CV Generation: Create professional CVs using various templates based on your profile information.
• WhatsApp Integration: Receive job alerts and apply to jobs via WhatsApp (where available).

Service Limitations

While we strive to provide the best possible service, please note:

• We do not guarantee job placement or interview invitations
• AI-generated content may require review and editing
• Email delivery depends on your email provider's policies
• Job listings are sourced from third-party websites and may change without notice
• Service availability may be affected by maintenance or technical issues

Subscription Plans & Pricing

AJA-AI offers various subscription plans to meet different needs. All prices are in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified.

Free Trial Terms

• Each user is entitled to one free trial only
• Free trial provides 5 job applications
• Free trial includes basic CV generation and email notifications
• Free trial does not include Auto-Pilot or Advanced CV features
• No credit card required for free trial
• Free trial cannot be renewed or extended

Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are non-recurring - you must manually renew
• Subscription period begins immediately upon successful payment
• Unused applications do not roll over to the next period
• You may upgrade your plan at any time; the new plan takes effect immediately
• Downgrading is effective at the end of your current billing period

Payment Terms

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payments through Paynow Zimbabwe, which supports:

• Mobile Money: EcoCash, OneMoney, InnBucks
• Bank Transfers: Various Zimbabwean banks via Paynow
• USD Payments: Direct USD payments where available

Currency

• All prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD)
• ZWG (Zimbabwe Gold) payments are converted at the prevailing market rate
• Exchange rates are determined by Paynow at the time of transaction

Payment Processing

• Payments are processed securely through Paynow Zimbabwe
• We do not store your bank account or mobile money details
• Transaction references are stored for record-keeping purposes
• Payment confirmation may take up to 5 minutes for mobile money transactions

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

• Your subscription will not be activated
• You will be notified of the failure
• You may retry the payment immediately
• No charges will be applied for failed transactions

Refund Policy

General Policy

Due to the nature of our digital services, we have a limited refund policy:

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

• Technical Issues: If our platform fails to deliver the service due to technical problems on our end
• Duplicate Payments: If you are charged multiple times for the same subscription
• Unauthorized Transactions: If a payment was made without your authorization
• Service Not Rendered: If you paid but the subscription was not activated

Refund Process

1. Contact our support team at support@aja.co.zw within 7 days of the transaction
2. Provide your transaction reference and reason for refund request
3. Our team will review your request within 3 business days
4. If approved, refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days
5. Refunds will be made to the original payment method where possible

Non-Refundable Items

• Subscriptions where applications have been used
• Free trial conversions
• Requests made after 7 days from purchase
• Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality (as this is subjective)

Acceptable Use Policy

You Agree To:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile
• Use the service only for legitimate job application purposes
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Review AI-generated content before submission when possible
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You Agree NOT To:

• Create multiple accounts to abuse the free trial
• Use the service to send spam or unsolicited emails
• Provide false or misleading information in applications
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack our systems
• Share your account with others or resell access
• Use automated tools to scrape or access our platform
• Violate any employer's terms of service or application policies

Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Violations may result in:

• Temporary suspension pending investigation
• Permanent account termination
• Forfeiture of remaining subscription benefits
• Reporting to relevant authorities if illegal activity is suspected

Intellectual Property

Our Property

The AJA-AI platform, including its design, code, algorithms, and branding, is the intellectual property of AJA Private Limited. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our software
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Reverse engineer our AI algorithms
• Create derivative works based on our platform

Your Content

You retain ownership of the personal information and content you provide (CV, profile data, etc.). By using our service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your data to provide our services
• Generate applications and CVs on your behalf
• Store your information securely

This license terminates when you delete your account.

AI-Generated Content

Cover letters, application emails, and other content generated by our AI:

• Are created for your personal use in job applications
• May be used, modified, and distributed by you freely
• Should be reviewed for accuracy before submission

Limitation of Liability

Service Disclaimer

AJA-AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• That you will receive job interviews or offers
• The accuracy or quality of AI-generated content
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That job listings are current or accurate
• Successful delivery of all application emails

Liability Cap

Exclusions

We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of employment opportunities
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
• Issues caused by third-party services (email providers, job sites)
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, internet outages, etc.)

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Reviewing AI-generated content before submission
• Ensuring the accuracy of your profile information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• Complying with employers' application requirements

Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Going to Settings → Account → Delete Account
• Contacting our support team

Upon termination:

• Your account will be deactivated immediately
• All personal data will be deleted within 30 days
• Unused subscription benefits will be forfeited
• No refunds will be provided for unused portions

Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• You abuse the platform or other users
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the service (with reasonable notice)

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, the following sections survive: Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.

Governing Law & Disputes

Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute:

1. Informal Resolution: We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues amicably
2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails, disputes may be submitted to mediation
3. Arbitration: Unresolved disputes shall be settled by arbitration in Harare, Zimbabwe
4. Courts: Either party may seek injunctive relief in the courts of Zimbabwe

Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Zimbabwean law, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date
• For material changes, we will notify you via email or platform notification
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• If you disagree with changes, you may terminate your account
